Impossible? We don’t know that word

Jurjen likes to tackle things that others consider hopeless at the bottom of the pile. Fiscally it can’t be complicated enough for him either. He is always passionately looking for the smartest outcome. With his strategic approach, he is a good negotiator as long as possible and a good litigator when necessary. Jurjen has many cases to his name as a lawyer and tax specialist. Including in the areas of foreign assets, VAT carousel fraud and liability. Specialization: objection and appeal procedures.

With Taxwise Advocaten he wants to give this old profession a modern look with new ideas. Before Taxwise, Jurjen worked at Vink & Partners for five years. In 2008, he started a new tax department at Linklaters with Stef van Weeghel.

Jurjen regularly gives his views in, among others, the Financieele Dagblad, the Telegraaf, Sprout, HP/De Tijd and Quote. He also regularly wrote commentaries for the Dutch Journal of Tax Law (NTFR).
